"De Draai" A neighbourhood in Heerhugowaard for people who like an informal, village atmosphere. In recent years, about 2,700 homes and associated facilities have been built at this new housing development. "De Draai" is located on the eastern side of Heerhugowaard and is bordered by the Beukenlaan, a piece of Jan Glijnisweg, the Krusemanlaan, the Oosttangent and the Oostdijk with the Ringvaart.
In 2017, we were asked to implement approx. 700 m² of Steni Nature Nordic Sand (SN111) in the medium granulation. The installation is screwed to a wooden substructure but thanks to the natural stone granulate, the screw head, which is enamelled in the appropriate colour, is almost invisible.

Developer Diemeer Vastgoed designed the Gele Lishof for Belle-Vue Wonen, specifically for starters and senior citizens. Intensive workshops with the municipality, urban planners and the architect resulted in a high-quality, compact residential environment, a small-scale apartment complex and houses.
