In the spotlights
The new fire station presents itself as an interplay of volumes. There is a striking appearance on all sides, but the emphasis is on the two facades facing the public space. Steni Colour SN8001 was supplied not only as flat cladding panels but also in L-elements for the corners of the building where the depot is positioned. This high degree of transparency has allowed the space to be showcased to its surroundings and the public character of the Fire Brigade is emphasised by spotlighting the distinctive red fire engines.

The use of colours is subdued by the use of high-quality, modern and durable materials such as glass, cladding panels and steel. The staggered facade line creates a differentiated image, making the building appear less massive.
